Mushroom 🍄 Bisque

My Aunt use to own a Cafe and she would make the most delicious dishes on earth! This is one of my favorites with a toasted roll to dunk in! It’s so earthy and delicious. It makes mushroom haters fall In love!!! Add a side salad ... you will blow your hubby or guests away!!!

• 1/4 cup Butter

• 2 pounds fresh Bella mushrooms

• 1 pinch salt

• 1 yellow onion

• 1/2 cup of shredded carrots

• 6 sprigs fresh thyme

• 2 cloves garlic, peeled

• 4 cups chicken broth

• 3 cup heavy cream

• pinch garlic and onion powder

• 1 pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

• 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves for garnish, or to taste
